Kingston Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) & Regional Assessment Service Administration Officer

The RAS is responsible for providing Home Support Assessments to assess people for eligibility for entry level supports that will enable older people to continue living independently in their home.
Brief Description:
- Key responsibilities of reception and phone management, data recording and client information management, including My Aged Care portal.
- Play a key role in the supporting the efficient management of our Kingston ACAS & RAS.
- Work within an administration team, ACAS Clinicians, Home Support Assessors and ACAS/RAS leadership team.

The RAS is responsible for providing Home Support Assessments to assess people for eligibility for entry level supports that will enable older people to continue living independently in their home. RAS is part of the broader department with ACAS & TCP.
About The Role
The ACAS/RAS Administration Officer position is designed to provide the program with efficient and effective administrative support. This helps to ensure the operational requirements of the program remains in line with the Commonwealth, the Victorian Department of Health and Monash Health guidelines. This Administration Officer position is a varied and demanding role with often competing for demands and is usually the first point of contact for all of our internal and external stakeholders, including the consumers of the service.
This is a full time, fixed term role, working within the Kingston ACAS/RAS administration team.
About You
You have a friendly, courteous and professional disposition and 'can do' attitude. You enjoy working within a team but also can work autonomously when required. You have developed strong time management skills and have a good eye for detail. You are passionate about supporting the care of the older person. You are up to the challenge of a multi-line telephone system and learning the My Aged Care Portal.
- Proficient in a range of IT applications and able to adapt to new systems
- Strong customer service ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with an ability to liaise professionally with people at all levels
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
What You Need
Essential:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Australian working rights
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Current Police Check
Desirable:
- Certificate in Administration and/or equivalent qualifications
- Previous Administration experience
- Knowledge of My Aged Care
