And our way of working smarter.To reinforce our legal Privacy team, we are looking for a highly skilled Privacy legal expert to ensure Privacy compliance of all Data related initiatives throughout Proximus while providing practical support allowing maximal business opportunities
Tasks description
You will provide legal support in a pragmatic and pro-active manner in privacy law (GDPR, telco law and related) including
- counselling and assisting multiple internal clients from all Proximus divisions in their Privacy impacting project to ensure Privacy compliance of data related projects
- providing internal clients with legal guidance on specific Privacy business questions
- assisting internal clients in the Proximus Privacy governance process
- assisting the DPO office in Privacy regulatory investigations and responses
- drafting GDPR required documentations such as balance of interest tests and DPIAS
- drafting, negotiating and reviewing DPAs and contractual privacy clauses
You will report to the Head of Legal Privacy.
You will work in an autonomous manner in close coordination and with the support of your N+1.
Your Profile
- You have a Master’s Degree in law.
- You have experience in Privacy law as outside or inhouse counsel or assimilated.
- You have a digital mindset and are passionate about new developments in privacy and data regulation and business
- You have strong analytical and synthesis competences which enable you to solve complex legal problematics
- You are detail orientated with strong ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and performance under pressure
- You are familiar with the life of a Company to cope with the business interests whilst preserving the legal interests.
- You are hands-on, convincing, honest, agile, hard working, result driven, able to work independently and disciplined
- You are recognized as team player, open-minded, diplomatic and willing to invest in long term professional relationships.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English;
